Some of the places of interest visited on this tour are the El Dorado ProAves Reserve, Los Flamencos Fauna and Flora Sanctuary, Isla de Salamanca National Park, and other interesting places like Minca and Palomino. In these hotspots, we can find species of high interest for science, conservation, and ecotourism; species that, due to their fragility, become interesting for nature lovers, photography, and conservation.

  • Day 2. Gaviotas road – Transfer to Riohacha

All these sites provide access to well-maintained trails, where you may encounter and photograph a variety of birds, including Trogons, Antbirds, Barbets, Toucans, Furnariids, Cotingas, Manakins, Flycatchers and many other bird families. Our chosen route covers some of Colombia's most renowned biodiversity hotspots, celebrated for their rich wildlife, scenic beauty, comfort, safety, and accessibility.

The ecosystems present in the Caribbean bioregion contrast with its mountains, glacial peaks, tropical forests, mangroves, and deserts; allowing us to observe a very high diversity of bird species in short distances and short trips, along with the excellent amenities we offer at Birding Experiences Colombia.
